Ghanaian Prophet Telvin Sowah Adjei has predicted that the opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC) will lose 11 parliamentary seats in the 2028 general elections.

The prophet made the statement during an interview on Okay FM with radio host Nana Romeo on Thursday, April 2.

According to Prophet Sowah, per what he saw, although the party may not necessarily commit major mistakes politically, it will still experience a loss in parliamentary seats in the next election cycle.

“They will lose about eleven seats in the 2028 elections,” he stated. “They have done nothing wrong, but I don’t know what is happening.”

The National Democratic Congress remains one of the two dominant political parties in Ghana alongside the New Patriotic Party.

Ghana’s parliamentary elections are held alongside the presidential elections every four years, and both the NDC and the NPP traditionally battle fiercely for control of Parliament.

The current leader of the NDC, John Dramani Mahama, continues to play a key role in the party’s political direction as it prepares for future elections.

Prophet Sowah has in recent times made several pronouncements on national issues and sports during his media appearances, some of which have generated debate among the public.
