Alhaji Seidu Agongo, founder of the defunct Heritage Bank and the Class Media Group, has emphasized the importance of spiritual strength as a foundation for success in all human endeavors.
Speaking in an interview with Chief Jerry Forson on Class FM, Alhaji Agongo noted that beyond talent, education, and hard work, spiritual preparedness plays a critical role in navigating life’s challenges.
According to him, many people venture into business, leadership, and personal pursuits without paying attention to their spiritual wellbeing, a mistake he believes often leads to failure.
“Before you venture into anything in this world, you must be spiritually strong,” he stated. “There are forces you may not see or understand, but they can influence outcomes if you are not well grounded.”
Alhaji Agongo, who has been a prominent figure in Ghana’s media and business landscape, explained that spiritual strength provides clarity, resilience, and protection, especially in difficult times. He added that individuals who are spiritually conscious are better equipped to handle pressure, setbacks, and opposition.
During the discussion, he also reflected on life experiences that have shaped his perspective, stressing that success should not be measured only by material achievements but also by inner peace and moral discipline. He encouraged young people and entrepreneurs to prioritize prayer, discipline, and ethical conduct alongside their ambitions.
