By allowing two Enterprise Banking clients to attend the third edition of Standard Bank Group’s Africa Unlocked Conference, which was held in Cape Town, South Africa, Stanbic Bank Ghana has reinforced its dedication to supporting local businesses.
In order to debate workable solutions for increasing intra-African trade, luring investment, and promoting sustainable economic development throughout the continent, the conference gathered together corporate executives, legislators, investors, and entrepreneurs from throughout Africa as well as important worldwide markets.
More than 140 people attended this year’s event, which included officials from the African Development Bank, Africa Finance Corporation, Microsoft Africa Development Center, and other organizations in addition to prominent speakers from the Standard Bank Group, including Group Chief Executive Sim Tshabalala.
A delegation headed by Gloria Bempong, Head of Enterprise Banking at Stanbic Bank Ghana, represented Ghana at the function. Her involvement demonstrated the Bank’s commitment to helping companies outside of the financial services industry by fostering chances for information exchange, strategic alliances, and access to local markets.

Stanbic Bank Ghana continues to solidify its position as a reliable partner for companies looking to grow and expand through programs like the Africa Unlocked Conference. Participating clients were able to interact with business leaders, share ideas with other entrepreneurs, and investigate new prospects in African markets thanks to the platform.
Discussions also centred on innovation, investment and the future of African enterprise, reinforcing the importance of collaboration in unlocking the continent’s economic potential.
Stanbic Bank Ghana says its support for clients’ participation reflects a broader strategy of providing value beyond banking, by connecting businesses to influential networks, market insights and high-impact platforms that contribute to long-term success. The initiative aligns with the Bank’s vision of helping Ghanaian enterprises become more competitive, while positioning them to take advantage of opportunities presented by the African Continental Free Trade Area (AfCFTA) and the continent’s growing economic integration.
