Manhyia South Member of Parliament, Hon. Baffour Awuah, has declared that he is not afraid of arrest, insisting that he will honour an invitation from the Economic and Organised Crime Office (EOCO) if it is properly served.
Speaking on Asempa FM’s afternoon political programme, Ekosii Sen, on Wednesday, September 23, 2026, the lawmaker said he is among the few lawyers who do not fear being arrested.
His comments come amid discussions surrounding EOCO’s activities and the manner in which individuals are invited or apprehended in connection with investigations.
According to Baffour Awuah, he is prepared to cooperate with EOCO if the anti-corruption agency invites him through the appropriate channels.
The Manhyia South MP, however, expressed reservations about what he described as the manner in which the agency handles certain invitations.

“I am one of the few people who is not afraid of arrest. If EOCO invites me the proper way, I will be there, not this style,” he said on Ekosii Sen.
