On a romantic evening with Prince Harry in Canada, Meghan Markle, the Duchess of Sussex, paid tribute to her late mother-in-law, Princess Diana.
On Friday, August 7, Markle wore Diana’s sapphire and diamond earrings at a banquet honoring David Foster’s foundation’s 40th anniversary.
Markle wore a black dress by Canadian designer Greta Constantine with her unique jewelry.
In a traditional black tuxedo and bow tie, Prince Harry also looked terrific.
The couple attended the David Foster Foundation dinner with Foster’s wife, Katharine McPhee, Josh Groban, Adam Levine, and others. On Saturday, there was a free music at Victoria Inner Harbor.
Before the Sussexes resigned from their royal duties in late 2019, Foster, 76, notably organized their private vacation to Vancouver Island. Foster and the Sussexes are good friends.

Additionally, McPhee, 42, and Markle share a Los Angeles middle school, which strengthens their closeness.
Despite never having met the late royal, who passed away in a car accident in 1997 at the age of 36, Markle, 45, has honored Diana’s style over the years.
A close insider claims that Markle wore a gold cross necklace that belonged to Diana when she and Harry traveled to Nigeria in 2024.
