Prophet Telvin Sowah Adjei has urged football authorities not to leave out Black Stars captain André Ayew when selecting the squad for the next FIFA World Cup.
According to the prophet, Ayew still has an important role to play for the Ghana national football team despite ongoing debates about the future of some senior players in the national team.
Speaking during an interview on Okay FM with radio host Nana Romeo on Thursday, April 2, Prophet Sowah also revealed that, he had a spiritual revelation involving Ghanaian star Mohammed Kudus during a World Cup match.
“Don’t leave behind Dede Ayew at the World Cup,” the prophet advised. “I saw Kudus sit on the floor during a game at the World Cup.”
Although the preacher did not provide further details about the vision, he stressed that Ayew’s presence and leadership would be crucial for the team during the global tournament.
Over the years, André Ayew has been one of Ghana’s most experienced players and a key figure in the national team setup. The son of Ghana football legend Abedi Pele has represented the country at several major tournaments, including multiple editions of the FIFA World Cup and the Africa Cup of Nations.
Ayew is widely respected for his leadership qualities and dedication to the national team, often serving as captain and motivating younger players within the squad.

In recent years, however, discussions about squad renewal have intensified as Ghana continues to integrate new talents into the team.
Meanwhile, several people believe the Black Stars should rather focus on building a younger team for future tournaments.
The preacher has recently been making several pronouncements about football during media appearances. In another statement on the same show, he predicted that an African country could soon win the World Cup, a historic achievement that has never been accomplished by any nation from the continent.
For now, Ghanaian football followers will be watching closely as preparations gradually build toward the next FIFA World Cup, where the Black Stars will hope to make a strong impression on the world stage.
