Antoine Semenyo— the Ghanaian international, has talked candidly about the love he gets from Ghanaians and his delight in representing his nation abroad.
The Manchester City forward discussed his ties to Ghana in an interview with CNN, stating that his parents were born and raised there and that playing for the country has been a dream come true.
“All I get from Ghana is love.” It is a dream come true to claim that I represent the country because my parents grew up there,” Semenyo remarked.
The forward also emphasized some of the attributes—such as strength, speed, excitement, and inventiveness—that he feels characterize his style of play.
“Definitely strength. Pace. Excitement is a different matter. When we play, every Ghanaian fan is ecstatic. Every trick, flip, every goal. I like to think of myself as having those qualities. “And love,” he continued.
