An NPP activist and sympathiser, Sheedon, has stated that her involvement in politics is not driven by the desire to secure a political position but by her ambition to see former Vice President Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia become President of Ghana.
Speaking on Okay FM with Nana Romeo on Wednesday, September 9, Sheedon said her ultimate political objective is to support Dr. Bawumia’s presidential ambition because she believes the former Vice President has what it takes to transform Ghana’s economy.
“I am not into politics for a position. My ultimate goal is to see Dr. Mahamadu Bawumia become the President of Ghana to transform the economy,” Sheedon said.
The TikToker’s comments underline her continued support for Dr. Bawumia within the New Patriotic Party (NPP), particularly as the party prepares for its next presidential contest.

Sheedon suggested that her political participation is therefore motivated more by conviction and a desire for national transformation than by personal political ambitions.
Dr. Bawumia, who served as Vice President under the Akufo-Addo administration, was the NPP’s presidential candidate in the 2024 general election. He remains one of the prominent figures associated with the party’s future political direction.
