
Nana Agradaa, born Patricia Asiedua Asiamah, has been released from Nsawam Prison after serving part of her custodial sentence. The evangelist regained her freedom today following a reduction of her initial prison term under Ghana’s standard remission provisions.
She spent nearly nine months behind bars before her release. Her original 15-year sentence was reviewed and reduced, making her eligible for discharge under established remission guidelines.
Nana Agradaa was convicted and sentenced in mid-2025 over fraud-related offences and controversial practices linked to her religious activities.

Her lawyers subsequently filed an appeal, and the High Court ordered a revision of the sentence. The ruling paved the way for her release after she had served the required portion of the adjusted term in line with Ghana’s remission framework.
