After years of chronicling her passion with the city’s busses, a London bus stop has been named after a Nigerian mental health nurse and content creator known online as “Bus Aunty.”
On Wednesday, August 19, Bemi Orojuogun thanked transit for London (TfL), which runs the city’s public transit system, on Instagram.
Videos featuring London busses helped Orojuogun gain popularity. She appears to stand near to passing busses in many of her videos, a visual effect that at first made some viewers wonder if she was endangering herself.

She subsequently clarified that she maintains a safe distance from the cars while recording and that the seeming closeness was produced by the camera position and editing.
She has a sizable internet following thanks to her distinctive films, which have also led to corporate partnerships.
Additionally, Orojuogun recently met Davido, the famous Nigerian musician, while he was touring London. She had previously expressed her desire to work with the performer.
She was thrilled and eager to work with Davido throughout their meeting.
