What’s The ‘Beef’ About?
It started with a warning shot. Sarkodie took to social media urging artistes not to indulge fans who go after rival musicians just to hype up their favourite — insisting that loyalty shouldn’t be measured by the intensity of an online attack.

Stonebwoy didn’t take it as a general statement. He read it as pointed, and fired back — this time going further, dragging in private conversations between the two men and pressing Sarkodie on where he really stands when it comes to principle and accountability.
Then the amputee video entered the picture. Sarkodie had shared a clip showing an amputee trying to throw a kick, and for Stonebwoy — who lost his right leg in a childhood accident — the timing felt anything but coincidental. He wanted to know if it was a coded dig at his expense.
Sarkodie’s answer was a flat No!. He maintains he’s never aimed a post directly at Stonebwoy and denies any intent to shade him.
That’s when the conversation shifted to loyalty itself. Stonebwoy’s position seems to be that relationships — especially ones with history — should carry some obligation, some baseline of principle. Sarkodie isn’t buying it. His stance: keeping company with people who’ve clashed with Stonebwoy doesn’t mean endorsing whatever those people did.
