Kofi Boakye Set For Top Government Role After Reshuffle?

A Ghanaian preacher has stirred conversation in both spiritual and political circles after publicly predicting that former Assistant Commissioner of Police (ACP) Kofi Boakye will be named Ghana’s next Interior Minister in an imminent cabinet reshuffle.

Apostle Joseph Olam Bohyeba made the declaration during an interview on Angel FM on Thursday, June 11, in a conversation with host Ohemaa Woyeje. Speaking with characteristic conviction, the renowned man of God claimed that Kofi Boakye’s appointment had already been settled — not in the corridors of Jubilee House, but in the spiritual realm.

According to Apostle Olam, the current occupant of the Interior Ministry is serving in a temporary capacity, effectively keeping the seat warm for the man he believes has already been designated for the role by higher powers.

“Kofi Boakye has been assigned to become the Interior Minister spiritually. The current minister is only holding the position temporarily. A reshuffle is coming, and when it happens, Kofi Boakye will assume that role,” the preacher stated emphatically.

He maintained that his declaration was rooted entirely in spiritual insight and stood firmly by the assertion that the transition was not a matter of if, but when.

Who Is Kofi Boakye?

The prophecy centres on one of Ghana’s most recognisable figures in law enforcement. Kofi Boakye served in several high-profile roles within the Ghana Police Service during a distinguished career, building a reputation as a formidable force in the fight against crime and the maintenance of law and order across the country. His profile, integrity, and public familiarity make him a name that resonates well beyond police circles — which is perhaps why Apostle Olam’s prediction has gained the traction it has.

Apostle Olam is no stranger to public prophecy. In recent years, he has made several declarations on political and national affairs, consistently drawing significant attention from Ghanaians who follow his spiritual pronouncements closely. Whether this latest prediction will materialise into reality remains to be seen. Presidential reshuffles in Ghana are notoriously difficult to predict through conventional means, let alone spiritual ones.

It must be noted that Apostle Joseph Olam’s declaration represents a personal prophecy and carries no official weight. It should not be interpreted as a government announcement or confirmation of any planned ministerial appointment.
