Kofi Adjorlolo

Veteran Ghanaian actor Kofi Adjorlolo has cleared the air surrounding his absence from Kwadwo Nkansah’s highly anticipated film project, ‘A Journey to Africa’, putting to rest any speculation of a rift between the two screen icons.

Addressing the situation during an appearance on Max TV, the seasoned performer revealed that a clash of schedules and poor health kept him off the set, rather than a refusal to participate.

The Initial Contact:

Lil Win reached out to pitch a role in the ensemble feature while Adjorlolo was working on location in Nigeria. Upon wrapping up his commitments in Nigeria and returning home to Ghana, Adjorlolo was struck by illness.

The combination of international travel and sudden physical breakdown left him medically unfit to join the cast and crew during active shooting.

Adjorlolo emphasized that his track record speaks for itself when it comes to supporting Lil Win and the broader Kumawood film community.

“In fact, I have never rejected Lil Win’s movies before, and the Kumawood guys know about this,” Adjorlolo noted, reinforcing that their professional bond remains completely intact.

Lil Win’s ‘A Journey to Africa’ has generated significant buzz across the continent due to its ambitious lineup, designed to unite prominent talents across Ghana’s diverse creative sectors. Adjorlolo’s absence naturally raised eyebrows among fans, making his public clarification both timely and essential.
