Prophet Telvin Sowah has added a new line to his running commentary on the opposition New Patriotic Party. This time he says Minority Leader Alexander Afenyo-Markin will, at some point, be “spiritually tied” by members of his own party.
The remark reportedly came on Thursday, October 22, 2026, during an appearance on Okay FM with host Nana Romeo. The statement as reported gives few details. It says Afenyo-Markin would be spiritually tied by the NPP at some stage, without saying when, by whom, or what the phrase means.
The prophet framed the comment as part of a spiritual contest between the politician and the party. But without the full recording, it’s unclear whether he meant Afenyo-Markin’s political future, his relationship with the party, or a broader spiritual picture.
How It Sits With Earlier Prophecies
This isn’t the first time Sowah has spoken about Afenyo-Markin. In earlier interviews, he said the “star” of the presidency had fallen on the Minority Leader rather than former Vice President Dr Mahamudu Bawumia. He added that Afenyo-Markin would not run in 2028, and that an internal party battle would eventually push him forward. In another widely shared claim, he said Afenyo-Markin would become the NPP’s next presidential candidate.
However, Telvin Sowah’s latest prophecy predicts that some NPP members will be unhappy. That is established. “Spiritually tied” could mean many things, and it could even sit alongside the earlier talk of an internal conflict.
Where Afenyo-Markin Stands in the NPP
Afenyo-Markin is the MP for Effutu and the leader of the NPP’s Minority caucus in Parliament, one of the party’s most visible figures since it went into opposition. At the party’s national conference in Kumasi on October 3, he said the NPP’s candidate for 2028 had already been chosen and urged members to leave united. He has also said politics is a spiritual exercise that needs divine protection, which may be part of why prophecies about him get attention.
Is the Minority Justified In Demanding Detailed Accounts Of The South Africa Evacuation?
Sowah’s statement is a spiritual prediction. It is not evidence of any plan, dispute or decision by Afenyo-Markin or the NPP, and nothing about his political future can be concluded from it. No response from Afenyo-Markin or the party was found in the coverage.
For now, the prophet’s remarks have added a spiritual dimension to public talk about the Minority Leader and his party. What he meant by “tied,” and whether anything follows, is for him to say and for events to show.
