Drop Underperforming Ministers Now– Omanhene Advises President Mahama

Media personality Omanhene Kwabena Asante has called on President John Dramani Mahama to take decisive action by reshuffling some of his ministers, citing concerns over what he describes as poor performance among certain appointees.

Speaking on the Monday, May 18 edition of the political talk show ‘Ekosii Sen’ on Asempa FM, Omanhene Kwabena Asante expressed worry that some members of government have not lived up to expectations in their roles.

He pleaded with the President not to hesitate in removing or replacing underperforming ministers, stressing that strong leadership sometimes requires difficult decisions to ensure effective governance.

According to him, the current performance of some appointees risks slowing down the administration’s progress if urgent changes are not made. He further emphasized that reshuffling should not be seen as a punishment, but rather as a necessary step to improve efficiency and delivery.
