Kim Kardashian was the target of the robbery gang

Kim Kardashian has finally emerged victorious in her robbery lawsuit after years of patiently awaiting a positive outcome and receiving an intriguing sum of compensation.

According to the French Lawyers who represented Kim Kardashian during the trial, a Paris court on Tuesday, September 15, granted her 1 euro ($1.15) in compensation for being the victim of an armed robbery in the French city in 2016.

Additionally, the hotel received 50,000 euros ($57,741) from the court.

Since the court last year found eight people guilty for their roles in what the celebrity called the most terrifying experience of her life, Kardashian has made an effort to move on.

Kardashian thanked the French legal system for pursuing justice in this issue following the decision on Tuesday.

She said:

“The experience was deeply traumatic, and its impact has stayed with us. Today’s decision is not about the compensation, but about accountability and recognition”

“We are thankful to the Court and everyone who supported us throughout this process, and we hope to now move forward and continue to heal.”

The court also granted 109,516 euros ($126,472) to a former receptionist at the Hôtel de Pourtalès.

While Kardashian was staying at the hotel, she was the target of the robbery gang.

The receptionist claimed that the jewel theft that occurred during Fashion Week on October 2, 2016, had frightened him. He had requested damages and interest totaling 550,000 euros ($634,868). Mohand Ouidja, his attorney, hailed the ruling as a triumph.

Dressed as police, two of the robbers broke into Kardashian’s suite, bound her with tape and zip ties, and stole almost $6 million worth of jewels, including a diamond ring she had worn to a Givenchy show that evening.

When they were put on trial for armed robbery, kidnapping, gang affiliation, and other offenses, six of the criminals were in their 60s and 70s.

With time already served in pretrial detention, none of those found guilty went back to prison. None of them appealed the verdict.

“While I’ll never forget what happened, I believe in the power of growth and accountability and pray for healing for all. I remain committed to advocating for justice and promoting a fair legal system.”, Kardashian said.
