Erling Haaland’s agent Rafaela Pimenta has pushed back against speculation linking the Manchester City forward to a potential move to Barcelona, denying that any talks between the two parties have occurred.
The claims stemmed from Barcelona presidential candidate Victor Font, who stated that his campaign is pursuing a “preferential option” with City — an arrangement that would give the Spanish club first access to Haaland should he ever become available.
Pimenta was unequivocal in her response, saying the two camps have had no communication on the matter and that while she holds Barcelona in high regard, there has been absolutely no contact.

She also stressed that Haaland himself is content at City, suggesting there is little reason to entertain transfer discussions when things are going so well for him at the club. Pimenta further pointed to the striker’s recently signed contract extension as proof of his ongoing commitment to the Premier League champions.
