Elizabeth Ofosu Mensah has officially declared her intention to contest for the position of Women Organizer of the Suame Constituency in the National Democratic Congress (NDC).

In a formal Declaration of Intent, Ms. Ofosu Mensah expressed her readiness to serve, stating that she is stepping forward “with humility, gratitude, and a deep sense of responsibility.” She aims to bring fresh energy and focused leadership to the women’s wing of the party in the constituency.

“I, Elizabeth Ofosu Mensah, with humility, gratitude, and a deep sense of responsibility, do hereby declare my intention to contest for the position of Women Organizer for the Suame Constituency,” she stated.She continued, “I humbly ask for your support, prayers, and guidance as we work together for victory.”

The declaration, which was accompanied by a striking campaign poster featuring the NDC colours and the party’s iconic umbrella symbol, emphasised the party’s guiding principles of Unity, Stability, and Development.

Ms. Ofosu Mensah is positioning herself as a dedicated advocate for women’s issues within the Suame Constituency. Should she win the position, she is expected to focus on mobilising women, promoting gender inclusion, and strengthening the grassroots structures of the NDC in the area.

Political observers note that the Suame Constituency remains a key battleground in the Ashanti Region, and a strong Women Organizer could play a pivotal role in enhancing the party’s outreach and voter mobilisation efforts ahead of the general elections.
