‎After Columbia shocked the Black Stars with, they were eliminated in the round of 32. Ghana’s Sports Minister gave the team encouragement and admiration shortly after they exited.

‎‎Minister Kofi Adams advised the Black Stars to keep their attention on future tasks and take lessons from current 2026 FIFA World Cup campaign.

‎Despite their elimination, Adams commended the team’s effort and said the Black Stars of Ghana had what it takes to compete in every World Cup and get past the group stages.

‎‎Despite being the tournament’s underdogs, Ghana performed incredibly well. Adams says Ghana did well on the field, and he is very proud of the team.

‎The Minister urged the players to learn from their mistakes during the competition.

‎‎”What we need is for the few mistakes we made to serve as a platform for our collective learning. You should not be dampened by it.

‎Hon. Adams reminded the players that their national duty continues with the upcoming 2027 Africa Cup of Nations Qualifiers, echoing Coach Carlos Queiroz’s team-first ethic.
